Poison dart frogs live in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. Most animals rely on camouflage, but poison dart frogs want to be seen. Their bright colours act as a warning to predators, essentially telling them, “I’m poisonous, don’t eat me.”

In this fascinating clip, one poison dart frog enters the territory of another. He’s clearly not welcome. In a surprising show of strength, the tiny frogs battle it out. Will the contender be warned off or will he be victorious? Watch the clip to find out.
