Clip Description

Snub-nosed monkeys can be found in the high mountain regions of southwest China and Tibet. They usually live in units of up to 30 monkeys although can form large groups of up to 600 when they feel the need to protect themselves from predators. They spend the majority of their lives in the trees of the coniferous forests and have short noses and thick fur to survive the cold winter temperatures.

In this fascinating clip, a young monkey is all alone in the cold forests of China. He has been thrown out of his own troop and hopes to be accepted into a gang of exiles. What do you think will happen when he tries to join this group of banished monkeys? Watch the clip to find out.
