Rewrite the first sentence using inverted commas to indicate the spoken words.

Rewrite the second sentence using all of the correct punctuation marks.

Challenge 3

Following on from the scintillating sentence passage on the previous page, continue the conversation between Arwel and Amos. Perhaps Amos has a suspicion that Arwel’s stones are being stolen by another Adélie from their colony? Don’t forget the rules for writing direct speech and try to include some of the descriptive words on the Word Wall.
