  • Writing as a male proboscis monkey, you have decided to place a lonely hearts ad in the latest edition of the Borneo Bulletin. What are you looking for in an ideal partner? Don’t forget to mention your exceptionally large nose!
  • Imagine that you are one of the proboscis monkeys featured in the main film clip. Fed up with risking your life every time you cross the river, you decide to write a letter to the crocodiles. How will you persuade them to let you cross safely?
  • Write a cinquain poem about a proboscis monkey or something that happened in the main clip. A cinquain is a 5 lined poem with the following features:

Line 1: One word (a noun, the subject of the poem)
Line 2:Two words (adjectives that describe the subject in line 1)
Line 3: Three words (- ing ending action verbs that relate to the subject)
Line 4: Four words (a phrase or sentence that relates feelings about the subject)
Line 5: One word (a synonym for the subject or a word that sums it up)
