Hanuman langur monkeys are native to India. They are named after the Hindu god Hanuman, a figure revered for his strength, perseverance and devotion. They are very adaptable and can be found in a wide range of natural and man-made habitats. With their long limbs and distinctive black faces, Hanuman langur monkeys can leap effortlessly between buildings and trees.

In this fascinating clip, a film crew enlist the help of Omji, an elderly man, who has a special relationship with the monkeys. Desperate to capture these agile primates in action, the crew are finally in luck when an alpha male decides that it is time to see off a group of younger males. Will the primate achieve his goal?
