Clip Description

The Pallas’s cat is similar in size to a domestic (pet) cat, though it looks much bigger because of its stocky build and its long, thick coat, which helps protect it in its frosty habitat. Adults stalk and hunt prey in the cold, mountainous regions of Asia.

In this fascinating clip, Pallas’s cat kittens are training to be deadly hunters. Although they are not very good at it just yet, as they grow, they will turn into expert predators. As they play among the large rocks, a vole comes scurrying by. It turns into quite the game of hide and seek! Will the young cats have the skills needed to catch it? Watch the clip to find out.
