  • How many yellow shirts did Mr Sharma peg to his washing line? How do you know?
  • If you haven’t already used a 100 square, colour the squares in the same order that they appear on the washing line (blue, red, green, yellow, blue, red, green, yellow, …). What do you notice? Are there any interesting number patterns?
  • If each shirt on the line was a sock of the same colour and design, how many pairs of green socks would Mr Sharma have? How do you know?
