Did You Know?

Have you ever seen a creature that looks part lizard, part frog and part fish? Meet the newt! These amazing amphibians live in ponds and can breathe in water and on land. In the UK you might find smooth newts, palmate newts and the rare great crested newt. Incredibly, some newts can regrow  their body parts if damaged, including limbs, tails, eyes, heart and even parts of the brain!
