Did You Know?

Can you think of your favorite bird? Birds are amazing creatures with feathers, beaks and wings. They are warm-blooded, which helps them stay the same temperature even in cold weather. All birds lay eggs, and many can fly – like eagles and parrots – using their strong wings. Some, like the ostrich and penguin, can’t fly but have adapted to run or swim brilliantly instead.
