Thursday

Did You Know?

Can you imagine a leaf so big that you could stand on it? In the Pantanal, giant water lilies have enormous leaves that can grow up to 3 metres across. They float on the water’s surface like green rafts, strong enough to hold a small child. Frogs, birds and insects use them as a place to rest or hide.
