Morning Starters: Autumn 2 - Teeth

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Have any of your baby (milk) teeth fallen out? Sharks lose teeth all the time – thousands in their lifetime! New ones grow quickly, so their mouths are always full of sharp teeth. Some old teeth sink to the seafloor, and lucky beachcombers sometimes find them washed ashore. The biggest prize of all would be finding a fossilised megalodon tooth. This famous prehistoric shark ruled the seas from about 17 million years ago up to almost three million years ago.
