Morning Starters: Autumn 2 - A Bug's Life
Did You Know?
Imagine being able to make your own rope just by pulling it from your body! Spiders can do exactly that, spinning silk that is stronger than steel for its size. Some spiders use their silk to weave intricate webs to catch insects, while others hunt without one. Spider silk is also used to make egg sacs, safety lines, and shelters. By eating pests like flies and mosquitoes, spiders help keep our gardens, farms, and the natural world healthy.
