Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Lion King

Tuesday

Did You Know?

What do you think a young male lion spends most of his day doing? Surprisingly – sleeping! Lions can rest for up to 20 hours a day. But when they’re awake, young males practice important skills like pouncing, wrestling and exploring. As they get older, males must leave their pride, challenge other lions and sometimes start a new pride of their own. It’s a tough journey to becoming the ‘king’ of the savannah.
