Have you ever tried walking in deep snow? Imagine doing that every day just to survive! Snow leopards roam the steep, snowy slopes of the Himalayan mountains, where the air is thin and freezing. To survive, they patrol huge areas and leave scent marks to tell other leopards “This is my territory!” But life is tough. Their prey is scarce, and people sometimes hunt them for their fur. That’s why snow leopards are so rare and endangered.
