Have you ever travelled to a place where lots of people gather? Each year, huge numbers of spider crabs come together on the ocean floor. They pile on top of each other in massive groups, all searching for a safe place to shed their old shells and grow new ones. By gathering in such large numbers, they protect themselves from predators during this vulnerable time.
