Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Epic Journeys

Did You Know?

What’s the furthest distance you’ve ever travelled? Every year, grey whales make a staggering 10,000 to 14,000-mile round trip! They leave the chilly Arctic feeding grounds and head to the warmer waters off Baja California, Mexico. There, they give birth and raise their young before making the long swim back north. It’s a tiring and risky journey, but it ensures their calves are born in safer, warmer seas.
