Did You Know?
What do you think is the rainforest’s most powerful hunter? It’s the jaguar! With strong jaws and sharp teeth, its immense bite can even crush a skull. Jaguars are also excellent swimmers and often hunt near rivers for fish, turtles, caimans, and capybaras. This big cat’s golden fur is covered in black spots called rosettes, which help it blend into the jungle so it can sneak up silently on its prey and pounce with incredible skill.
