Morning Starters: Summer 1 - Roald Dahl's Animals

Did You Know?

Have you ever read a story that made you laugh and shiver at the same time? In Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile, a greedy croc dreams of eating children. In Africa, Nile crocodiles really do grow to enormous sizes—up to six metres long. They aren’t after people but hunt fish, birds, antelope, and even zebra. With powerful jaws and a sudden snap from the water’s edge, they catch their prey in an ambush few animals can escape.
