Plant leaves are like factories, producing the food plants need to grow. They come in an astonishing variety of shapes and sizes! Some leaves are as small as a fingertip, while others, like the giant water lily’s leaves in the Pantanal wetlands, can grow wider than a table. These massive leaves dominate their environment by stealing sunlight from nearby plants, making them true champions of survival.
