Morning Starters: Autumn 1 - Teamwork

Monday

Did You Know?

Emperor penguins are the ultimate team players. They work together in the extreme cold by forming a gigantic huddle, which is over eighty degrees warmer at the centre than the outside air temperature. Every penguin waits patiently as the huddle slowly rotates, giving each one a turn in the warmest spot. This team effort helps them survive the freezing Antarctic weather and ensures no one is left out.
