Using a combination of trust, encouragement, organisation and respect, Arctic wolves work effectively in packs to hunt large prey like the mighty musk ox. However, musk oxen are skilled team players too! When a calf is separated, the herd forms a powerful wall, showing courage and strength to protect their young. It’s teamwork on both sides of the hunt!
