Did You Know?

Beavers are a species of rodent that are famous for building impressive structures from wood that include dams and lodges. They use their oversized teeth (hardened with iron) to gnaw effortlessly through tree trunks. Beavers are being reintroduced to counties across the UK after 400 years of extinction. Their ability to shape the environment around them can support other animals and reduce the risk of floods.
