Did You Know?

The cheetah is the world’s fastest land animal. Its explosive bursts of speed make it a formidable predator, capable of outrunning nearly every other creature it encounters. Able to reach a top speed of 113 kilometres per hour, every sinew in its body is finely tuned for the pursuit of its prey. Its lightweight frame, powerful leg muscles, and specialised adaptations, such as large nasal passages for oxygen intake, enable it to accelerate and maintain extraordinary velocity during the chase.
