Brushing your teeth twice a day (once after breakfast and once before bedtime) will help to keep them in good shape. Thinking about the health of the planet whilst cleaning your teeth is also very important.

Top Tip: Water is a very precious resource. Try to avoid wasting water while brushing your teeth. Just pour a small amount of water into a cup to rinse your toothbrush, and try not to leave the tap running.

Natural Curriculum's Good News Story

By following the link to the CBBC Newsround site (opposite), you will discover that some companies, involved in the manufacturing of toothpaste and toothbrushes, have developed ways to make their products more environmentally friendly. Did you know that there are toothbrushes made from wood rather than plastic? Wooden toothbrushes are biodegradable and don’t harm the environment when thrown away.
