Challenge 1

Which conjunction from the Word Wall could you use to join the two simple sentences (1A & 1B) together? Write down or say aloud your new extended sentence.

Challenge 2

Look carefully at the sentence 2. Can you find the conjunction? Is it in the right place?  Re-write the sentence so the conjunction is correctly placed.

Challenge 3

Write your own scintillating sentence about an echidna that uses a conjunction from the Word Wall and some of the descriptive words. Your sentence could begin with the conjunction or it could follow on from your first clause.
