Read the first sentence and identify the two main clauses. Between which two words should a semi-colon be placed? The sentence is also missing a comma. Where do you think it should be placed?

Challenge 2

Continue the second sentence from the semi-colon. Make sure that it is a main clause and relates back to the first main clause.

Challenge 3

Write your own scintillating sentence about the silver ants featured in the film clip. It must include a semi-colon to mark a boundary between two closely related main clauses. Try to use some of the descriptive words from the Word Wall.
