In this fascinating clip, we are shown a variety of different owl species. Super-powered, magical and ghostly are some of the words that are used to describe these remarkable birds. We also meet two owl chicks called Luna and Lily. Of the 200 different owl species that inhabit our planet, which species of owl are the chicks? Watch the clip to find out.

Whiteboard Number Challenge

Unlike a human, owls cannot move their eyeballs inside their eye sockets. However, they can rotate their heads an incredible 270 degrees.

How many different number sentences can you list in a minute where the answer is 270?

e.g. 300 – 30 = 270     200 + 50 + 20 = 270
