• Creating a poem that uses rhyme is a great way to learn a multiplication table. Using your favourite animals, see if you can complete the following 8 times table poem:

One times eight is eight

A spider searched for a mate

Two times eight is sixteen

A giraffe is muscular and lean

Three times eight is twenty-four

A scorpion had lost a deadly claw
