  • A worm’s cylindrical body is divided by grooves into a series of ring-like segments. Draw a worm that is segmented into ten parts. In the first four segments, start a number sequence. Leave the remaining segments for a friend to continue. Caterpillar Ordering from Topmarks is a great game to recap number sequencing.
  • Did you know that the average lifespan of an earthworm is between four and five years? Research and create your own earthworm fact file. It should contain lots of interesting number facts like the one above.
